The "bunyols" or buñuelos are typical local sweet off pumpkin and flour. Dough is made, same manner passed from generation to generation, and a portion of dough will be formed with a hole into the middle and then deep fried. Sugar or chocolate are served for dipping. The fritters are typical on family or friends gathering, formerly very typical on the day of San Jose. Actually, they will be offered on gastronomical fairs and at Christmas market.
