Habas

The broad beans (faves) are one of inherited vegetable products of legume crops in the municipality. The beans are harvested in April. A principal recipes is "les faves sacsades", a stew with fresh beans and rice with dried beans.

Today, mostly preserved at home the habit of planting a “selló de faves? (a row of beans) for their own consumption.

A day to enjoy the tradition and also of culinary innovation through this legume is the Feast of Vine and broad bean, which takes place on a Sunday in April in the municipality.
